Ms. Gill asks the question, "Why are we here?" I believe the better question is "What do we do given that we are here?" In other words, we can't control that which happens to us, we can only control how we respond to that which happens to us. In doing so, one finds their irreducible essence.
She makes a good point in the video about vulnerability.
I think when you're open to feeling hurt or open to empathizing with another so you can feel their pain, then something will invariably open up within you....leading you to depths of feeling and expansiveness where suddenly those big questions in life become exclamation points of righteous certainty within you!!
