The Jam: Ep. 8: Healthy "Deceptive" Lunches

Eating healthy is hard, even for adults, so that's why Bridget McManus gives advice to parents who need help when it comes to packing healthful lunches and getting their kids to eat their veggies. With the help from the great blog post "Great Tips for Healthy Back to School Lunches" by PeopleJam member pearlofafrika, Bridget tells parents to say away from artificial flavors, MSG, and all processed foods. Bridget also discusses how to make everyday foods such as mashed potatoes, and sweets such as brownies: healthier and your kids won't even know it!

No spinach in brownies!! That is a sin!! LOL

I had some M&Ms for the first time since I was a kid today and they were good! So a little bit of chocolate must be ok as well?

Tofurky rocks! And that book you suggest sounds awesome! It would be good for kids and adults alike! I have a hard time getting my partner to eat her veggies, but this book may make it easier on her! Thanks!
