When it comes to relationships we all have preconceived notions, but thanks to a fantastic blog post from Morrie and Arleah Shechtman called "8 Myths About Relationships," host Bridget McManus can bust those myths and set the record straight. Are you ready to challenge your conventional wisdom when it comes to relationships?
I like the shortness of the videos and the suggestions. Plus Bridget Rocks hardcore!
i love her!
Core values? really bridget? Core Values?...
like a certain other *dare I say* Lesbian couple that was on tv a while ago and is reviewed by your *dare I say it* imaginary girlfriend Jill Bennett lol. every tiem you said Core Values i saw that smile/twinkle in your eye and if you weren't immediately thinking of Bette and Tina I certainly was
snore
... now that's not the same as phwoar values, is it?!
I love the little sarcastic lilt to "Core Values" you have. This was an excellent review for a questionable book.
I think opposites do attract to certain degree. I realize people should not diagree on really big issues like kids, religion, etc, but I personally like being with a person who's not EXACTLY like me in all ways. Our differences make it exciting. I read the other myths on the article, but I have to say I disagree with about half of the supposed "myths". It's a great video, nevertheless. It's a topic that really made me think. Thanks Bridget!
First I have to say that the little stuffed guy in the chair is in my bedroom! I have that cat bed! OK, that said, I agree and disagree with this. I agree that core values must be the same or harmonious in any relationship. My best friend divorced because she wanted kids and he did not, so that example is right on. However, I disagree that love can't help save a relationship during hard times. I have been with my wife for 15 years and without that key important ingredient of love, I do not know if we would have made it this long.
I completely agree that relationships don't have problems, people have problems. It's sad but true, but I'm sure that with love, people can overcome these problems. Overall, another rockin' video by Bridget :] Thanks for being so informative as always!
I agree that opposites attracting isn't realistic. It may be exciting at first, but it will get old and won't contribute to a long-term relationship.
