I figured it out. Smith-Jackson is a high ranking school official at Elan. He sends these e-mails out to all the students, which are usually dreaded by the students because they are bad news or a notice or something.... Well, I guess they had some robberies and rapes... I believe the pick up line was related to being the next subject of Smith Jackson's email notifying the school that another girl was raped....
