CrossFit expert Andy Petranek explains what it takes to be a champion on and off the field.
...to watch is boxing. Whenever I see a really good boxer who has never lost a fight, I immediately wonder who his opponents have been. I'm always more impressed if the people he's fought have been better or at least at his level.
If he's going around fighting chumps, then that perfect record means nothing. A true champs steps up his/her game at all times!
Wow, Andy! Great words of wisdom, spoken from a true champion. What more is there to say?! Thank you for sharing.

Boxing seems to have become less about who the champion is, and more about who can draw the most at the box office and on pay per view. Usually the champ WAS that person, but with so many sanctioning bodies in boxing (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO? I may be making some of these up!), and oftentimes four recognized world champs in a given weight class, I personally would rather see a big name or skilled fighter, regardless of what belt(s) he is or isn't wearing.
I need to speak to students in my Elementary School about being a champion. How can download a video clip to show them?
