Good advice. Too many people go overboard spending insane amounts of money on the date itself, plus crazy new clothes and things, just to try to impress the other person. And too many people put too much trust in their date when they barely know them. I really like the idea of meeting them at a public place, that way, they don't know where you live unless you want them to. Great post!

Overall good advice, I couldn't agree more on the importance of meeting in a public place and just keeping it simple. This video has essentially the basics of making sure no one screws up their first date.
I completely agree with this. I've always met people in public places for the exact reason mentioned in this video. Some people are nuts, especially in this day and hour.

some great pointers here on what and what NOT to do on a first date. Not to mention some new ideas for places to go, that aren't just the same old dinner and a movie.
It’s always a good idea to meet your first date in public because safety should always come first. Also, it’s cute when the date isn’t extremely expensive because then you will feel more comfortable. Also it’s totally true that you don’t want to give out the most intimate details about your life and scare the person off. Great tips for a first date, everyone should use them!

A successful first date ends with intercourse? That would be a great first date :) And yes, don't discuss issues on a first date, it will scare your date.
