Love it! It's like a mini episode of Mythbusters. Thank you for the Splenda vs sugar!

Frozen vs. fresh seemed somewhat obvious, but what I don't think most people realize is that frozen and fresh are both healthier than canned vegetables - canned vegetables are full of salt and preservatives. I thought that was interesting about the butter vs. margarine and sugar substitutes vs. sugar. For years, they've been saying butter and sugar are bad for you. Who knew the replacements they'd found are actually worse?

Great info, too bad some people go overboard! My husband heard that a glass of red wine is good for the heart, so he now drinks at least a bottle every night. He probably has the healthiest heart in Washington State. I guess he doesn’t realize the butter is undoing all the great affects of the wine.

I love food, too!!! Some of the "myths" were obvious like frozen vs. fresh..., but some were very helpful. For example, butter over margarine??? I would not have ever guessed. I also love my diet coke... sometimes, truth hurts. =(

I kind of knew all this stuff--that natural bad foods are better than unnatural neutral foods--but seeing it reminded me I seriously need to cut back on the diet coke.

I couldn't agree with this blog more. I love food, it's one of my favorite things about life. I'm so sick of food natzi's always complaining about how something I eat isn't good for me. It's my body, and it's my choice. If I want to eat it, regardless of how healthy or unhealthy it may be, I'm going to eat it. There is a lot of valuable information in this blog. Thanks you so much, Bridget, I couldn't last a day without you.

At least i know I haven't been making too many wrong choices when it comes to my diet but I am SO glad I don't even drink soda... I'm crazy enough as is.. I don't need tiny brain holes...

this year i'm asking Santa to bring Bridget whatever she asks for... She saved my life from a holey brain...
