In this episode:
manager's universe huh? Love me some bridget.
Brillllliant... here I was about to tell my boss and male co-worker to take this job and shove it where the sun don't shine... which I'm sure would have gotten me fired plus it's not April so can't fall back on Aprils Fools...
Great advice
great advice i like that guy.
This video is so true. I used to work as a receptionist at a head office over preschools. All they wanted me to do was sit there, answer the phone, and transfer calls. I went above and beyond what I was supposed to do to make sure everything was taken care of, so other people co-workers didn't have to worry about what needed to be done. When it was time for me leave, I got several certificats of appreciation and a guaranteed job any time I was available to come back. I had to move, and it was so sad. That was one of the best jobs I had, and it's because I applied myself.
I was kind of expecting this advice to suck, since it's such a different topic than all the other (good) videos I'd seen. But this is probably the best 2 minute video I've ever seen on how to succeed at work.
I just started my job, and I'm happy with it so far. It's a good advice that I should definitely take pride in my job and try to make it better for the company. I think for people who work with passion for their job can do this much better than those who just work to make money. Well, I think the bottom line is, WORK HARD!
This is great advice. Often those workers around you see you as competition, so it's best as you say to go to work simple fulfulling their needs of success so they'll be happy you're there. It's kind of a game, but that's the world of business. Contributing is important.
