Bridget lists a lot of positive remarks regarding writing a cover letter. She should have included that you should research the company, as well as compare it to other companies and their pay.
Good refresher on the most important points to keep in mind when you are writing your cover letter. Very simple but also very effective. It's nice to keep it simple because it can be stressful applying for jobs but it need not be that way! Here are the important points that will reinforce that "Yes, you know what you are doing" and be sure that your cover letter is best designed to serve it's purpose.
With all the focusing sometimes on resumes, this shows how to have a cover letter that grabs the spotlight
