In this episode, host Bridget McManus interviews Vince Thompson, Internet business consultant and author of "Be Ignited." If you've ever wanted to know how to excel in a managerial position or how to identify your boss' needs then check out this episode of "The Jam."
In this episode:
Vince is a great guest with some great advice - help others win. I appreciate his emphasis on listening to others, and then trying to help them get what they need/want. Thank you for including this video!
I would definitely recommend this video to anyone interested or who is already a manager. I think a lot of managers really do not listen to most people (especially their employees). I think if they did, the business would run a lot smoother and might actually grow.
Although useful, his tips seemed a bit too generalized to be truly helpful. I've held a managerial position and can attest that helping your coworkers succeed is part of the game. Their performance reflects upon you. The better they look, the better you look.
A lot of other comments say that this video was boring, but I think that must be because they were expecting Bridget to be her usual crazy kooky self. This post was very informative. I totally believe that you should "do unto others are you would have them to do you", and listening is one of the ways you can do that. When you take the time to listen to other people so that you can truly go above and beyond to help them, it will usually be reciprocated in some way at some point in time. Great post!
this is a real cool interview on management.I'm very fond of management.Needless to say this video added my interest on management. It is true that in marketing field management has a big role o play.
This is the right website for anyone who really wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much, its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic that has been written about for a long time. Great stuff, just great! hot asians Good
