In this episode:
That was not funny. I'm dissapointed.
Love you anyway, Bridget!
^ You're just not looking hard enough for the dirty meaning!!!
Totally found the secret santa gift for my boss ;] Thanks Bridget!
Totally found my boss's secret santa gift ;] (I am such a jackass)
Thanks Bridget!!
I don't think they are all supposed to be funny. This seems to be a self-help kinda show. Not a lesbo comedy vlog.
Great job Bridget!
love you B!
Thanks for the tip!
I liked the information that helping others get their needs met will make you a good manager. That's an interesting perspective. Explicit and implicit were spelled incorrectly. I hope that gets corrected quickly. I liked having Bridget interview someone, it made the video more interesting.
This was a pretty informational video. It's not as funny as other ones, but I think this was meant to "help" us become a good manager. I agree with the part that a lot of good managerial characteristics can translate at home. I know so many managers who totally need to see this video!
I enjoyed this video. Although short, it was somewhat informative and gave me an insight into Vince's background to make me interested enough to read his material. I enjoyed hearing just a small piece about how managerial skills are not only helpful at work but helpful at home as well. I am an instructor and often teach classes and remind people that skills learned are for home use as well. We all know it but often don't apply it where it is needed the most and that is where family disconnection occurs. So that was interesting and I just want to know more about what Vince teaches so I will be reading his stuff soon. Thanks for the video. Short and sweet and nice to see another take other than humor. Very appreciated.
Good! I like this video a bunch. It is not as funny as some of her other videos, but it is quite informative. Vince's tips were quite useful.
Very helpful. Like others said its not that funny. But it is still helpfull nonetheless. Atleast I got to learn something new eh?
Even though it may not have been funny. It was true about business. And you just proved that you can be funny and then be serious too. How well rounded are you girl!!!! You go.
i liked this interview. i'm glad it wasn't as funny as the others or else i wouldn't have taken the info seriously. and not to mention i would've felt bad for vince if bridget was making jokes the whole time. keep it up bridget!!! :)
Hmmm... I think the higher ups for my company could use this info.
Great info and I also like how he talked about it tying into the home life.
Totally agree with this - helping others win...completely true. Being a manager myself, would love to read more specifics about tips and tricks to actually help people feel like they're winning. Might make me less hated... :)
Sorry! My first no rating. I just did not find this to be helpful or realistic in my own experience both as a manager and under management. Helping others never seemed to play a part in anything managerial. Helping the company's bottom line was all I was ever supposed to do.
Great advice. Its so simple but complex at the same time. I agree that the higher ups in corporations need this info.
This really made me extra happy that I'm now self-employed. I couldn't help thinking of Lumberg from Office Space.
This episode wasn't as funny as the others, but it was informative and helpful. Those tips will definitely help me get along better at work and at home.
Being a Christian, I wholeheartedly agree with this concept. I think that when people try to help/serve others, they trust/feel good and your relationship can only get better. In business or home life! The words "explicit" and "implicit" are spelled wrong in the part where the needs are written on the paper.
I recommend this video! It really gives great advice and meaning of management. Thanks again, Bridget!
Hmm... my boss needs to read his book. Good advice on management. I am interested in reading his book.
I found this video to be very helpful with ideas on how to become a manager. Very good. I would recommend this video.
An interesting perspective, I liked the point about helping others get their needs met will make you a good manager. I guess this is a pretty good piece of advice for everyone.
starbucks preaches servant leadership, making upper management more helpful to those below them. how it actually works out in practice is certainly different then the theory, but this is a great video!
Bridget I loved this video on VInce he gave some great information on how to be successful intodays world.
Wasn't really what I've come to expect... very informative but you can still be funny even when you're giving people helpful information!!
Not really as amusing as the previous videos, but the information given is still very helpful nonetheless.
This video is so helpful. I was wondering how people got to move up into a manager's position, especially so quickly. Now, I know how to apply myself at home, as well as at work, I can give it a shot at a manager's position. Some people don't have the patience to actually work at a better position, this is something I now have the means to strive for. Thanks again, Bridget. Although this video wasn't funny, it was just as helpful as all the rest.
I know this may not be a popular idea, but I agree with what Vince is saying. Helping others win is a good way to show love to others and make them happy. Sure, some individuals are plainly idiots, but if everyone hates you in the office or at home because you're always competing against them and trying to prove yourself better, what's the point?
