Have you ever wanted to how to play the drums, sneak backstage at your favorite concert, or even learn how to make absinthe? Well then check out this episode of "The Jam" where host Bridget McManus reviews a book that will do just that. "Cherry Bomb," written by quintessential rock chick Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna, will give you a rock-and-roll edge rather than a Susie Homemaker approach to making your life better.
In this episode:
Sounds like Mrs B has been hitting the absinthe ... not the usual toasting beverage! But here's to the bride and bride - you rock!
love to my bridget another greats show girl. 8-)
Congratulations Bridget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
holy shit, you are married?!?!?! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! You and Karman are PERFECT for each other!!!
popped your cherry huh? you are all class mcmanus!
This book sounds interesting, I may pick it up. It sounds like it will have a lot of how-tos for exciting things, not just getting candle wax off your carpet. Bridget was funny, as always.
Cherry Bomb is probably something that I wouldn't pick up on my own, but your review totally makes me want to pick it up and read it. I'm sure the author doesn't mind that you can't say her name with such a great book review. Your "mistakes" are so funny, by the way.
Great video and book sounds good as well. I might of just found a christmas present for my sister :).
I have both read and reviewed this book so I must say you did a good job telling the audience who hasn't heard of it yet about it. You make the book sound sooooo interesting (which it is) and the added laughter is funny. You are married? Cool.
this sounds like a great xmas gift for my cousin!!! thanks bridget!
Love the gay slant on your show every time! Very in depth review this time. I will tell my wife about this book. It sounds like she would enjoy it!
I don't know that I could go out and actively...I want to say "stalk" a rockstar. It's all pretty shallow, too.
laverne lols... i hadn't even heard of this book, and i'm kinda thinking i need to go to the library now.
Sounds like an interesting read. I may actually buy a copy for a friend of mine. She would so love it. Thanks for the review, I wouldn't have found it on my own.
