The Jam: Ep. 31: Cherry Bomb

Have you ever wanted to how to play the drums, sneak backstage at your favorite concert, or even learn how to make absinthe? Well then check out this episode of "The Jam" where host Bridget McManus reviews a book that will do just that. "Cherry Bomb," written by quintessential rock chick Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna, will give you a rock-and-roll edge rather than a Susie Homemaker approach to making your life better.

Sounds like Mrs B has been hitting the absinthe ... not the usual toasting beverage! But here's to the bride and bride - you rock!

Cherry Bomb? A book that teaches women how to flirt. Well, the name sure suits the book.

This book sounds interesting, I may pick it up. It sounds like it will have a lot of how-tos for exciting things, not just getting candle wax off your carpet. Bridget was funny, as always.

This book sounds very interesting and Bridget is priceless like always!

Cherry Bomb is probably something that I wouldn't pick up on my own, but your review totally makes me want to pick it up and read it. I'm sure the author doesn't mind that you can't say her name with such a great book review. Your "mistakes" are so funny, by the way.

Great video and book sounds good as well. I might of just found a christmas present for my sister :).

I have both read and reviewed this book so I must say you did a good job telling the audience who hasn't heard of it yet about it. You make the book sound sooooo interesting (which it is) and the added laughter is funny. You are married? Cool.

Love the gay slant on your show every time! Very in depth review this time. I will tell my wife about this book. It sounds like she would enjoy it!

I don't know that I could go out and actively...I want to say "stalk" a rockstar. It's all pretty shallow, too.

Laverne and Shirley indeed! Thanks, Bridget I will check out the book.

Sounds like an interesting read. I may actually buy a copy for a friend of mine. She would so love it. Thanks for the review, I wouldn't have found it on my own.

Oh my, I have to read this book! I am collecting girls books for my Single Girl's Survival Guide! Yay! More reference!

These videos are good for anyone who wants a miniature book review in under 5 minutes. I can get an idea of a book to get someone, and in this case something I can maybe pick up for some female friends (or girlfriends of my guy friends if I could give them something without it being overly weird).

I'm jealous of what Bridget has in your top, lol. I wish mine looked that great! I don't know if I could eat the whole peanut butter ball thing, but I like the idea.

Sounds like an interesting book, I'd consider getting it for my girlfriend, but I"m not so sure I want her to get better at flirting. :) But Bridget, you are, as always, witty and beautiful, if not a bit tongue tied. :P

I'm not too sure I'll check out this book. Sounds like it has some interesting tidbits, but for us married girls, we don't really need to know how to get a rock star's phone number at a bar. Funny post though.

hmm, this book sounds interesting I think that i'll have to give it a read. Bridget you are so funny, you are just random at times and it's hilarious!
