Whoever said weight loss takes time didn't read Jorge Cruise's book "8 Minutes in the Morning for Real Shapes, Real Sizes." Host Bridget McManus's skepticism quickly goes out the door when she finds out people swear by the no-gym membership-and-eat-your-favorite-foods plan, and it really does only take eight minutes!
In this episode:
I wonder if this actually works, Bridget you should try it and let us know!!! LOL!
This sounds interesting. I'll bite and buy the book. Thanks Bridge!
I'm with Bridget on this...i won't believe it until i see it.
i think it's too good to be true. there are a trillion diets out there and they all make promises but never keep them. my doctor said I need to lose 50 lbs and I can't figure out what to do. I've tried walking in the morning and stopped eating cheese and i haven't seen any results. I love meat way too much to be a vegg. Does any one know any diets that actually really work?
that was so f***** funny. Bridget is so awesome!
NO Bridge, don't lose weight ;)
The book sounds interesting, but Bridget didn't even give us any info about what the weight loss method is in the book. That would have been much more helpful when deciding whether I wanted to get more information about this book. She did make me laugh, though, and I may go look up the book to find out more.
This video did leave me feeling skeptical about the whole lose weight in eight diet, however it only confirmed to me how wonderfully funny Bridget is. It would have been nice to know a little more about how the whole diet works but I'm sure it can't be as simple as it sounds. I too would like to see some before and after pictures... very funny.
I just moved to a new place and lost internet and have been away for over two weeks, am now sneaking in these videos at work, it was so worth it! Bridget you rock, please keep being awesome!
Like the realism here. Losing weight is hard and it takes discipline and time. Most diet books are full of things you already know or are making promises they can't keep.
I really don't like books like these. It seems like it's more of a gimmick to say you can lose 8 pounds in 8 minutes. I've tried many of those diets, but the best is to really take time to exercise, be active, and eat sensibly. I'm sure the book has good information, but I think the title is misleading... Maybe I should read the book and then give my opinion.
Eight minutes a day sounds very unrealistic for losing a dramatic amount of weight. Maybe for little bits over time, though.
interesting. i sincerely doubt it really works that simply, but it's an interesting idea. however, i might head over to the library to take a peek at this.
I so don't believe you can lose weight in eight minutes. That's insane. That's not even enough time to sweat. Losing weight in eight minutes is every overweight individuals dream. I can't stand the whole 'lose weight quick' thing. If you can eat chocolate and lose weight, I can pretty much guarantee it's pretty disgusting. Everyone, that has lost weight from this eight minute lose weight plan, only claim to lose so much weight in a month. Sorry, I just don't buy it. I'm with Bridget on this one.
