Who knew "Sex and the City" could tell someone so much about women? In his blog post "5 Things You Can Learn About Women from Sex and the City," PeopleJam member Whaledawg puts a spin on how to dissect the female species from the hugely popular TV series and movie. But does host Bridget McManus agree with what he says? Check out the episode to find out.
In this episode:
YAY! You said it Bridget!
I won't even bother with Whaledawg(is he half-dog/half-fish?), i'll just take Bridget's word on it.
Happy weekend y'all!
A++
I know for a fact, that you really come to life, if you got the right topic.
Have a great weekend, too !!
Bridget, will you U-hall with me?
I'm sort of in love with you bridget...
brunch is such a better webshow.
this is my favorite Jam video thus far. Very funny and very Bridget.
What a funny video! I love your comments, opinions, funny pics, and your personality. Yes, I read the whaledawg's article, and you are definitely right! We, women, totally are cool and awesome~ (and only crazy just when it's necessary!) Great video. I can't wait to see more of you!
Ugh, kudos on calling out that jerk, Bridget. Everyone who read that post and agreed with him should have to watch this video.
Great Video and so fun to watch. I read the article and being a woman who deal with men all the time and know they're thoughts, nothing Whaledawg wrote even offended me. If anything, it was humorous and the reaction to not like him is probably what he desires to give him more to rant against women on. As women we have bad things to say about men all the time so I'm just going to let him have his thoughts and laugh at how he thinks. Great calling him out though! :) You're awesome.
Those little chicks made me laugh like a little kid... But for everyone taking this at face-value, by the end of the video, ladies really must be crazy. :O
This made me laugh! I'm a HUGE fan of Sex and the City. Have seen every single episode, saw the movie, read the book. I can totally relate to the women on that show - minus the shoes, of course - so I'm glad Bridget called that guy out ;)
This episode is funny enough, but Bridget is a little over the top with her mannerisms. I get the feel that she is trying hard to be funny in responding to Whaledawg. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, just trying to be constructive. This is my first time watching Bridget though, she may grow on me.
Can I just say thank you? What a refreshing voice! I am against genderism in any form, so it sounds like I would agree with you. Very funny and go lesbian power!
Haha...though I sort of have to agree with this Whaledawg's blog (women ARE crazy), but Bridget's take on it is hilarious!!
Wow, what a condescending article. This guy sounds bitter, and is obviously very single and very lonely.
Nice episode. And yes I agree with you. Whaledawg is wrong, and he obviously knows nothing about women.
too funny... some of his points were true, but i can see where it would irritate some people. a one bedroom in brooklyn is still new york though, which is such a great point to make.
I think Bridget is right that guy does not know what he is talking about. Sex in the Cityis a great show and truly shows whatlife is really about in todays society.
hahaha... this is too funny... GO BRIDGET! I love SATC, he just obviously doesn't understand women at all!
I love it!!! I read that same post and I thought the same thing!! I really thought that guy was just so sad because he obviously can't get hot chicks because they find him less interesting than shoes! Well some guys just aren't as interesting as shoes but if he grew a personality he might have a fighting chance!
Well said!! no one has a right to pass judgements.. err.. Doesnt it include you also ? ;-) just kidding
The host is SO adorable :) I love her. And of course I completely agree, saying that New York is "the Playboy Mansion for women" just because there are supposedly a lot of places to buy shoes is ridiculous.
Sex in the City is an interesting show, that's for sure! I think that it scares men. It scares them that women know what they want! Yeah!
First of all, a man went to go see the sex and the city movie, and he watches the show? I never knew that guys knew that this show existed!!
I'm really surprised, while Sex and the City is from the woman's point of view - a lot of guys I know who have seen the show really dig it because of how their curiousity is satisfied with the kind of "locker room talk" women can participate in.
A very thought provoking video Jam session. I do find some of the points that WhaleDawg was making in his article a very interesting exploration and I would not be too quick to disagree with the point he is making by comparing a Lady's "Sex In The City" to Gentle man's "Play Boy", because both cater to gratification of fetishes and whims characteristic of it's audience (And are hugely popular/successful in doing so!) I could even go further by pointing out that the way that Bridget acted towards WhaleDawg is very similar to how men have been treated in the past for being Pro-Play Boy. Because of this, I am not able to agree with Bridget on this one! I think that people are able to recognize subtle nuances that give rise to the modern human being and his and her complimentary complexes!
That was a really good and Very funny video .In my personal opnion BRIDGET dosen't understand womans . Funny video anyways
This video is really funny. At the same time it makes you to think. It tells you what men think about sex. It also tells you so much about women and their interests. It is not easy to dissect the female species from the hugely popular TV series and movie.
Very funny! I do have to agree with WhaleDawg on one thing. In many ways, New York can be seen as a women's playground in terms of shopping, dining, and overall fun
I voted yes for both choices . The lady is not hysterically funny but she's amusing and I think she might appeal to certain segments of population , especially young single women.
