About Me
Inspired technologist, friend, observer and participant in this crazy thing we call life. I am an energetic and successful technology entrepreneur enamored by the world of Internet startups. I have ridden many of the waves that once were bubbles, now are mini bubbles, and I have been there when life goes "pop." I consult with others on business plans, marketing ideas, and ways to conquer the world. Recently I find myself being acknowledged as an Internet TV expert. I am always eager to listen to cool ideas, meet other inspired people, and lend a helping hand.
I love adventure and constantly challenge myself and others. I am scuba diving in Antartica in February and I am not a big fan of the cold. I have skydived, bungeed jumped, hang-glided, street luged, and generally have hurled myself through timespace to challenge myself and in the process others. I have collected wonderful memories, experiences and passport stamps.
I consider myself a spiritual man, while rejecting those who cannot seem to accept other's beliefs. I find that sadly, this is more often the case than not, and probably getting worse. I continue to challenge myself to be open minded, when the brain's natural instinct is to latch onto patterns.
I am a native New Yorker, which explicitly means I grew up in the heart of NYC. I lived in Austin for 4 years but found myself missing walking in traffic and seeing several thousand people each day. I am a very social animal. I am a fierce friend and throw great parties. I feel I can say that comfortably without feeling pompous, being that my July 4th party was the picture on the cover of the Metro section of the NY Times and I have often adorned a banana costume. Believe me, it's the best costume in the world.
Lately I have been on a greater search for the meaningful life, am reading Dan Pink's "A Whole New Mind" and am recommending it to others.
So welcome to my profile. Please look around and stay awhile.
