About Me
In my first life, way back when I played in the symphony, jazz groups and our National Capital Percussion ensemble. I loved doing that and thought it was the career of a lifetime. Little did I know life would lead me into something even more amazing!
What I do now
Now I'm an Executive Shadow Coach and coach political, government and corporate leaders in real time through the chaos of their days. I love that I'm in the middle of things as they unfold from world crises, national policy, international cooperation and economic trends. My clients span the globe.
By entering the client’s environment, I work with them in translating awareness into practice, essentially fostering the emergence of the Shadow Coach™ in the clients themselves. My unique structure enables me to understand individuals and their worlds sufficiently to design coaching that shifts their developmental level. My model of coaching attends to the individual, social, relational and environmental aspects of her client's ‘world’. It is an integral approach that results in the client developing a deeper, more comprehensive sense of themselves and their place in their organization and the world as a whole.
In 2004, as there was such a demand for me to teach the model of Coaching I created, I founded The School of Shadow Coaching™ and teach world-wide. Through the amazing participants of my trainings, my knowledge and expertise grows and ensures that the training evolves along with collective expertise and insight.
When I'm not Shadowing a client you'll find me writing, creating content and continuously updating my curriculum.
When I'm not working you can find me hiking, cooking, painting, writing, reading, blogging, playing with friends, listening to music (pretty much a given), or having great conversations with my son.
I love living from a sense of possibility.
