FINANCE: U.S. Dollar In Danger?
Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - 08:17Remember when it used to be all about the Benjamins? Well, with most economists believing that the U.S. is in a recession right now, alarm bells are ringing worldwide as the U.S. dollar has hit an all time low against other major currencies. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - 08:10I remember a story that our local Priest told us at a sermon in Mount Isa when I was a boy. I was one of those kids who rarely listened in church but this story couldn't help but win over my attention. Courage was the topic and he talked of a pair of young twin boys that showed plenty of it. One of the twins was diagnosed with an illness that required him to get a kidney transplant; the problem is, back in those days there was a huge waiting list for one. His only shot of survival was if his twin brother would give him one.3 CommentsEnjoy The Journey
Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - 08:02Courage is living for something greater than yourself and being prepared to die for it. There will always be obstacles and problems on the way but if you stay focused with your eyes firmly on the prize, the trophy will be yours. There are many ways to the top of the mountain but the view is always the same. Keep focused on the end result but always enjoy the journey. The journey is what makes the prize so sweet.2 Comments
