Experience
I love to engage in stimulating and thought provoking dialogues, where we co-create meaning together!!
I am a dedicated life-long learner, and have found that paradoxically, the more I think I know, the more I don't know! Having studied multiple disciplines, I continue to be curious about so many things!. Thus, as you can probably guess, I am passionate about delving into 'unknown' territories. I've traveled around the world, exploring culture, language, education, philosophy, spirituality and the arts.
Some of the roles I have played (and perhaps continue to play) are as a educator, a Trainer and Professional Coach, corporate executive, business owner, actress, writer, director (theatre), producer, mentor, martial artist (Kung Fu/Tai Chi), musician, non-profit leader and volunteer, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Some of my formal studies include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California Polytechnic University, a Masters degree from California State University Fullerton in Performing Arts, a certificate of completion from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, a certified graduate of Coach U, Inc (thus a Master Certified Coach via the International Coach Federation/ICF), more recently (at present) I'm pursuing my doctorate at Fielding Graduate University in Human and Organizational Development. Whew!!
I have a wonderful family: Michael my husband and partner for 20 years. And my lovely girls: Tiffany (who's given us three wonderful grandchildren: Hudson, Zachary and Abby!), Crystal and Antoinette. My Mom (Joanna) and my three dogs round out the house and keep everyone busy! (two cute beagles and an Irish terrier mix!)
Peace comes from your commitment to learn about yourself. It's not what happens that determines the quality of living, it's what you do or don't do with it. --Pamela Richarde "PeaceCoach"
Some Quotes that I love:
If one advances confidently
in the direction of
their dreams and endeavors
to live the life
they have imagined,
they will meet
with a success
unexpected in common hours.
- Henry David Thoreau
==========
There is one thing we can do,
and the happiest people
are those who do it
to the limit of their ability.
We can be completely present.
We can be all here.
We can... give all our attention
to the opportunity before us.
- Mark Van Doren
=======
You cannot teach a man anything;
you can only help him find it
within himself.
- Galileo
========
More important than
the quest for certainty
is the quest for clarity.
- Francois Gautier
