Experience

I have to be honest and say that I often struggle with profile writing because I never know what to say. So I have asked myself the following question, “What do I really want people to know about me?” I want people to know that;

First and foremost I am human. That means along with my good days, I have bad days. I have positive attributes and I also have my flaws and fears. I embrace it all; the good and the not so good, because that is what makes me who I am.

I am divorced.

I am a mom to an amazing young man.

I am a friend.

I am a daughter.

I am a sister.

I am a lifelong learner.

I have heart and I am not afraid to share or use it.

I love to listen to others and support them in their journey to find the best solutions for them.

I don’t have all the answers, but I am willing to explore and help find the answers. Answers that fit and are in integrity for myself or the clients I work with.

I have quite a few work-related experiences; a teacher in a classroom setting, a business owner of an internet production company, an independent contractor, co-founder of a non-profit AIDS prevention organization, and an editor. While I have enjoyed all my career choices, none have fit me nearly as well as certified coach and teleclass leader. Coaching is definitely my passion and what I am meant to be doing.

I have a degree in Creative Writing which I say gives me the license to speak and spell creatively (reading between the lines that means making up words.) I also have a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

I am a trained coach and licensed corporate Coaching Clinic Facilitator, receiving my training through CoachInc.com.

I am a certified coach through the International Coach Federation.

Most importantly, I am someone who cares and wants to make a difference. It is my desire to utilize my experiences so I can be the best coach possible. It is my commitment to always be honest, and create a safe place for my clients to grow, thrive, and to find what truly lies within them so that they can reach their fullest potential. That is my promise and this is who I am.

  • Oh, To Be A Loose End

    Lately I have been feeling like a loose end; not very connected or grounded. With that feeling comes noise, a feeling of unsettledness, and even a bit of fear. What's worse, I lose that deep connection to my intuitive side; a side that I have come to embrace and truly love. I have been in this space before and it does not scare me, but it does frustrate the hell out me. I don't like it, but I am learning to go with it and look for the good.
