I am a forty-something nurse, writer and blogger. While I still work in nursing, I am trying to create more of a life for myself as a freelance writer, ostensibly to decrease stress and have a healthier lifestyle.

While I struggle with several chronic health problems, I am working with my mind to not allow them to have a negative impact on my life and my sense of well-being.
