Valentine’s Day is almost here, so can you feel the love in the air? By love we do mean feeling the love for your significant other, but if you support living an eco lifestyle you may also want to show your love for the environment by celebrating a Green Valentine’s Day.

It’s a brand new year, so for most people that means dedicating themselves to their new year’s resolutions. But let’s face it, we all make a lot of resolutions that we don’t keep. We’re either too busy at work or too consumed with our personal lives to truly stick to our goals.

According to an article in The Earth Times, Queen Elizabeth II has recently bought the world’s largest windmill for an undisclosed amount (which I’m guessing is ridiculously expensive). This windmill is going to be built by Clipper Windpower, a wind turbine manufacturer based out of Carpinteria, California.

SustainLane is one of the largest websites devoted to sustainable living, so it’s only proper that they would conduct a study on 50 of America’s biggest cities. Each city was ranked by its sustainability practices, which include: quality of air and drinking water, roadway congestion, local food availability and park space.
