About Me

Who am I?

Well, I have a degree in philosophy, so perhaps I should answer that question by claiming that I'm not even sure I exist...

I am a second-generation Italian American (give or take) from New York, so maybe the real questions are "Have you eaten yet?" and "Who wants to know?"

I'm Roman Catholic, so I often ask myself, no matter who I think I am, what does God want me to be...

Being a die-hard fan of the Mets, Jets, Islanders and Knicks, it's safe to assume that God wants me to, above all else, have humility, patience and a twisted sense of humor...

Most of all, though, I think it's safe to say that I'm an insatiable gormandizer... of what? Well, that's for me to know and you to find out.

    I know too many people who've died after suffering from cancer. Breast. Colon. Uteran. Of course I also have been blessed enough to meet cancer survivors that are nothing if not inspirational. All I can hope for is that I never get this disease, and if I ever think I do, that I have enough courage to go to the doctor and figure out how to be one of the survivors.
