About Me

I usually say that I initially developed coaching skills in kindergarten. A chronic and recovering overachiever, I pioneered my class in the mastery of shoelace tying. This motivated my friends to seek self-reliance and I was hired (for brownie points) to coach the group through the process. Having triumphed in my first task as a coach and a trainer, I am thrilled that clients continue to seek my support in conquering challenges!

After decades of being Dear Abby for friends, colleagues and strangers in coffee shops, I met someone at a party who asked me if I was a coach. Apparently, in regular conversation I sounded like his coach and he suggested that I call her. Since I was eagerly searching for my path, timing couldn't have been better (I tend to manifest perfect strangers with perfect insights when I most need them :)

I completed my training at the Coaches Training Institute and was certified by the International Coach Federation. I also qualified as a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner and was certified in NLP last Spring. In addition to individual and group coaching, I love to facilitate organizational retreats and lead experiential learning programs for corporate, non-profit and government clients. My passion is working with entrepreneurs and visionaries who are out to change the world! This year I am planning my first overseas visioning retreat in Tuscany Italy (this October!) I can't wait!

In 2002 I founded YES!Circle and in less than a year transformed the organization from a tiny support group for start-ups to a leading networking, advisory and educational organization in the region. YES!Circle allows me to connect with the most fascinating, innovative people and I have learned more about running a business than I could have ever imagined.

Educationally, I graduated with honors from James Madison University with degrees in International Affairs and Spanish and a minor in Russian Studies. My passion for international development, exploring different cultures and intent to change the world has taken me all around the globe. I am completely addicted to travel and exploring. I am thrilled that my uniquely integrated educational, corporate, international, and coaching experience enables me to work with a diverse, multicultural clientele in English, Russian and Spanish.

2007 is off to an amazing start and I am delighted by all the exciting opportunities ahead!
