Experience
My first coaching experience was at sixth grade camp when I met a girl who thought she was worthless because she had an illness. Ever since then, I've been encouraging other people. I've worked with a very diverse group of clients, from corporate VP's of big deal companies to cleaning ladies. Once you get past the obvious socio-economic issues, all people want the same thing- to be respected, to use their gifts in a meaningful way, and to be loved.
My career path has been a winding one with stints as a teacher, librarian, trainer, administrator, Occupational Therapist, business owner and publisher. I discovered the power of coaching after a job layoff and was delighted to put a name to something I'd been doing all my life.
I love great books, aspiring writers, people with a dream, pina coladas and walks in the rain-- HA! I've got a quirky sense of humor and want people to laugh out loud as much as possible.
One of my greatest joys in life is to inspire. I draw my inspiration from many places and people. My spirituality is a driving force in my life. Combined with my background as a practical Mid-Western farm girl, I like to combine inner work with outward action to get the best possible outcomes.
When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my family- one husband, three kids, and too many pets.
