Molecular biologist, wife of 25 years, and mother of three- ages 9, 14, and 16. Life is a daily miracle. The miracle of science, the miracle of family, the miracle of small things that seem insignificant in and of themselves, but altogether are of immense importance. Seeing your mother''s smile in your child''s face. Wet mittens drying in front of the fireplace. Going over your children''s homework with them. Listening to music with your children. Feeling your heart skip a beat when your husband''s hand brushes against yours. Seeing cells divide and replicate. This is what keeps me riveted day in and day out.
