Experience

All my life I have been searching for more in life. I grew up in a factory town where options seemed limited. While I yearned for more, I didn’t know how to get it. I tried to create more by doing well. I became an overachiever—I was valedictorian of my class, a drum majorette, led about every extra curricular activity I could find, volunteered, and dabbled in music and the arts. Yet, when I wasn’t studying or engaged in these projects, I was a chubby kid zoned out in front of the TV, overeating, biting my nails, hanging out at the malls… I alternated between overachieving and overindulging, working hard and escaping. As a young woman, I finally thought I had the formula for success—I had risen to the top of my field in two different careers by the time I was 28, I had lost weight to get to my “perfect” size, and was in relationship with a smart, good-looking guy. But this formula still didn’t work–while on the surface everything looked perfect, underneath I was unhappy, unfulfilled, lonely, and empty. I felt like I was sleepwalking through my life.
Deeply dissatisfied, I was desperate to change my life. Luckily, I did discover the “formula” for a great life. I discovered the power of a life-altering decision, what I now call The One Decision, and the actual skills it takes to get MORE out of life. I realized it wasn’t a destination, but an amazing life journey that continually expands.
I’ve come a long way from that chubby girl from a factory town. I’ve had the privilege to coach and train people for over twenty years and to share the breakthroughs that have transformed my life and the lives of the people I coach. I married a phenomenal man and visionary, Bob Wright, and we founded The Wright Leadership Institute, a coaching and training organization. Since then, I’ve written two books, appeared on over 70 television programs including Oprah, ABC’s 20/20, the Today show, Good Morning America; been interviewed on over 400 radio programs, and had my work published in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers including Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Fitness Magazine, Health, Better Homes and Gardens, Shape, The New York Daily News, The Chicago Tribune, The Boston Herald, and The Detroit Free Press. I was even called “one of the most sought-after self-help gurus” by The San Francisco Chronicle.
Although this publicity has been a great gift, what I truly treasure is opening people up to exciting possibilities for their lives and then teaching them the simple but powerful tools they need to have everything they have ever dreamed of, and then some!
I have the amazing opportunity to coach C-level executives from a variety of corporations and people who are making significant contributions to their businesses, organizations, families, and the lives around them. I continue to write and publish. I speak to company and organizations across country. I founded and lead a women’s organization called SOFIA—the Society of Femininity in Action, and I lead a wide variety of courses and trainings including the One Decision training and the Year of MORE program, a powerful step-by-step curriculum for people to completely transform their lives in the course of one year.
I look forward to reading your stories posted on the site, and offering any support I can through my experience and coaching.

Blessings on your journey,

Judith
