Experience
With all of the ways to interact online, I wonder, have people lost the ability to truly communicate voice-to-voice or face-to-face? To deeply connect as a couple? Can two people really fall "in love" having only met online? What does it mean to have or be a "true friend?" Are you a "nice guy" or "good gal" and if you are…are you doomed to a life void of passion and romance?
I am known nationwide as “The Dating Doctor” and "America's Real-Life Hitch." When discussing relationships, I like to address what matters most: Who controls relationships and why… Basic human differences between the sexes… How men and women get "aroused"… The "Attraction Factor"… how to meet your "Hmm!"… How to become a more passionate lover and what to do if you are dating a horrible kisser.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology ('83) and my Master of Arts Degree in College Student Personnel Administration ('85) from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. My second book, Date Smart! How to Stop Revolving and Start Evolving in Relationships has remained a top seller to this day. My third and fourth books, Let Your Leadership Speak and Leadership's Greatest Hits (both co-authored), offer experiences, strategies and ideas to expand your leadership potential. My most recent work, Making Relationships Matter, is an honest look at how to live a life with no regrets while getting the most from every day and every relationship in a post 9/11 world.
I have been fortunate to be honored as The National Campus Speaker of the Year on 10 separate occasions - 7 times by Campus Activities Magazine and 3 times by The National Association for Campus Activities. I enjoy what I do and am lucky to be a highly sought after speaker, entertainer, and retreat facilitator.
My work has been featured in such fine publications as Us Magazine, Glamour, Mademoiselle, Cosmopolitan, USA Today, Celebrity Living, The Wall Street Journal, Women’s World, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Washington Post and The New York Times. I have appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, WGN, Fox and CNN as well as hundreds of radio and television stations nationwide. I am aa regular guest on Star 105.7 in Grand Rapids and The Big One, 700 WLW, in Cincinnati. I have served as the spokesperson to MSN On-Line shopping as well as Microsofts Streets and Trip release campaign.
From my appearances on radio, TV, live and in print, I must have interacted with more than 10,000,000 people worldwide. I enjoy a hearty laugh and a good time, just as much as I do working diligently and changing lives. So, get ready to laugh your way to a more satisfying social life!
