Hello peoplejam community. I'm a 40ish-something wife and mother of two little girls looking for The Next Thing.

In my former life I was an ambitious corporate development creature, working for media companies and enjoying my life between Tokyo and LA. I don't want to return to that, but I do find myself now and again wistfully watching the Singapore Airlines flight make its final approach toward LAX, imagining the frosty glasses of champagne I used to drink onboard.

I'm all about family now, and for the most part, happily so. Nothing gives me greater pleasure and more pride than hearing my oldest girl mimic her daddy in her mushy-mouth little way "And here's to you, baby!" or watching my baby girl take her first wobbly steps. I've been blessed with a rich and stable personal life and am very grateful.

Being the 21st century kind of gal that I am, however, I'm not completely fulfilled by this. But, I don't know how yet to color that other side in, and thus, here I am today!
