My background is in entrepreneurship and marketing. I hold a MBA degree from Pepperdine University. My entrepreneurial career came after I had worked as a licensed stockbroker for a major investment firm and then as a business development officer in the banking industry. It didn't take me long to realize that I was never going to get rich working for someone else. I started my first business venture while still employed by the bank. Since then I have started and built seven different companies. I semi-retired at age 44 after selling off my companies. After extensive traveling I started thinking about ways I could transfer my 30+ years of "hands on" experience and training to assist other people into starting and growing their own businesses. After going through the coaching process myself I decided the best way to share my skills was to become a business coach. I began by training with the Coaches Training Institute and later with Franklin Covey Coaching. After starting my Executive Coaching business I was hired to work with marketing "guru," Jay Abraham to coach his existing clientele to assist them in implementing his marketing strategies. This turned out to be the opportunity of a lifetime! For those of you that don't know Jay, he is one of the most talented and highest paid marketing consultants in the industry. The tools and techniques I learned from him were phenominal! What I learned from Jay coupled with my extensive personal experience has assisted me in coaching business owners and entrepreneurs to achieve incredible results.
In addition to business coaching I am also a seasoned real estate investor and licensed building contractor.
