I hate to sound like a cliche, but this book changed my life. I was at a very low point with a lot of difficult situations and problems, and I was at a loss for how to get back on track. This book has no-nonsense, honest advice for people who hate to get up in the morning or are full of sadness.

I found the book interesting and easy to read, with specific ideas about how to improve my outlook and thereby my situations. I really felt that the author had a good understanding of people who suffer from "a touch of the blues" to serious depression, and why.

By following the advice in the book, I was able to turn my life around and be a better mother, partner and friend...most of all, I truly did feel better. I have recommended this book to friends and family...even people who don't suffer from depression can benefit from this book. I highly recommend it.

Could you include more detail about the book in your review? It was nice to know the book helped you but would be nicer to know what in the book helped you so I would know to get it for me.

The review kind of short changed me. I like reviews that go into detail of what I will find in the book. For example, what was the advice that helped you turn your life around and be a better partner, mother and friend. Those little details help me in knowing if I'd enjoy reading it. Thanks.
