I received this book from an uncle after graduation. I use it for one of those "365 days a year book" every morning when I get up. I like it because every time you open it there is a different quote or saying to start the day off with. I'm the type person who can perceive/think about a short phrase or paragraph all day. Thats what I like about this book. There is little reading involved, which I like because I can't bring myself to read entire novels, so everyday is something new for me to read! I love it!

Every time I'm feeling a little blue about how my day is going, I just flip the book open and choose a random page, read the positive quote that page contains, and certainly it helps pick up my mood, perfect book, reading it is like having your best friend giving you cheers to go on, totally recommend it, also no need for you to be feeling blue when reading it, start your day reading a couple of it's pages and i promise your day will be awesome, perfect as a gift, a book to have in your desk while working, one of the best gifts I've received.

This book is chipper, easy to take with you and the perfect gift for anyone. It works well to have a few copies of it in your house in the event that a forgotten birthday comes up, or any other situation where there's a needed gift at a last minute.

It's fun, easy to thumb through and pick a saying here or there to read and instantly feel a bit lighter on your feet. I find it impossible not to smile when I am reading of this while I'm in a long line or on the phone with a frustrated customer, etc. It's words to live by, in the fact that a positive attitude is often all we need to get by. I find it a perfect tool to unwind and would recommend it for any woman's purse!

When I first heard of this book, I thought it was going to be more like a calendar with daily quotes. Then as I actually flipped through it I realized the intention was to just choose a page at random when you needed some inspiration. Sometimes you do not need to read a full book, or chapter to get some inspiration! A small quote can change your entire day around! This book although put out by Louise Hay, is a compilation of various inspirational writers. It is great to carry with you, in case you need that burst of confidence before a big meeting, before stepping on an airplane, or before meeting that special someone. There a quotes from John Gray, Deepak Choprah, and Wayne Dyer. One of my favorites, and one I truly believe many should live by is, "How you treat people--whether it be an old friend or a teller at the bank--is indicative of how you can expect people to treat you." --Deepak Chopra, M.D.
What I find amazing is when you actually open a page in this book, the quote really seems to hit on how you are feeling that day. I gave a copy of this book for a friend who was going to be laid up for several weeks after surgery. I told her each day, as she lay there, to open a page, and read a positive thought. I have spoken to her since the surgery, and her spirits are soaring!
