I waited for Dimitrius' latest book for months after I heard she was writing it. Here's the premise: By knowing what goes into a person, you can predict what comes out of them. That means, if you put good things in as an employer, you can expect good things come out as their work improves. That goes on to a more micro level where in a conversation, if you're more agreeable, if you're willing to listen and work with someone, you have better chances of actually getting your way. The book is up to date noting that employees are more about their emotional well being in many cases than their financial situation. Inspiring and fascinating for anyone to read, and works with any interpersonal situation. GREAT!

The simple concept of reading people is deeper than first expected. However, the author breaks this book down in a way that is easy and fascinating to read about. From a health care provider perspective, Reading People has helped me in my overall assessments I make of my clients. I was talking with a law enforcement agent who also has read the book and was equally helped with his assessment skills needed when dealing with not so nice people. Reading People has made me more aware of my own mannerisms and now I find myself looking at every day people I come in contact with in a different way. This book has helped me when dealing with less than honest people as well. I feel more self-confident knowing I’m a little less naive about business deals and when talking with strangers. Most of the information in Reading People is common sense advice, but the author explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand and get in the habit of utilizing. I like the book and feel like it makes me more alert now to my surroundings.
