This book is all about raising your children to have a deep sense of their own worth and to have character as they face life's toughest challenges. People don't just have character... it is developed. this book gives you a sense of how to go about raising kids who know what they believe and value in their lives. He writes from a perspective of what they did right with their kids and what they did wrong. At the end of the book, he allows the reader to hear from his kids about some of the mistakes that were made. It is a down-to-earth, back-to-basics kind of approach that I found very inspiring and encouraging.
