I have the world's pickiest eaters. My kids will like a food one day and then hate it the next. They cleverly hide their vegetables under their napkins so they don't have to eat them. I found this book browsing at the bookstore. I was impressed by how sturdy it was made. It's a thick cardboard like cover. It holds up good to wear and tear. The basis of the book is that you get your children to eat veggies by pureeing them and hiding them in kid friendly food. I know it sounds a little gross, but it works. I even got the kids and my husband to eat the spinach brownies. My favorite recipe is the mac n cheese. I have put pureed carrots and squash in that dish. The kids have no idea. I'm a happier mom now because I know they are getting their vegetables. I found it helps to have a high powered blender to make the purees. The blender worked much better than my food processor. I am giving copies of this book to all of my girlfriends. I love it!
