This book is old and falling apart in my bookshelf. The review is for audio but I had the book and wanted to review the material.

It is such a great book, you can read and re-read it and still get something out of it. It is timeless. It cost $5.95 back in 1982. One of the most interesting parts to me is about the myth of romantic love. He explains why love is not a feeling and even though a lot of the book is about romantic love, a lot of character issues are intertwined. The book covers your mind map meaning your view of the world, recognizing the outdated material and taking the challenge to change it. It covers lies and deception and how important it is to be honest with yourself as well as everyone else. He writes from the point of view that laziness is the original sin. He does believe in evil but in the form of people’s hatred. It covers a lot, gives you a lot to think about. This is a classic. Everyone should read it.
