I listened to this mostly in the car whenever I was going anywhere. It was quite fun to listen to. I loved Julia's stories. They were unique, entertaining, and educational.
Her greatest lesson throughout the book is to appreciate what's already in your head - learn to be happy with what ideas you do have and put them to use rather than constantly searching for something different that very well may never come around.
Natalie is equally pleasant: kind, gentle, and enjoyable to hear from. Though Julia is the stronger presence, Natalie is the one you'll end up interested to hear from - her thoughts are intriguing and unique.
There is some great material from Julia and Natalie on this audio presentation! Though there aren't so many tips as actual personal stories, you'll still learn a lot. I certainly did.
This sounds like something that would be good to listen to. It's always interesting to hear about other people's writing experiences. I might check it out sometime.
Now that I have read the reviewer's comments, I think I would like to have the CD. I like Julia Cameron's work and wasn't aware that she had a CD like this. The idea of appreciating the ideas you already have is so important for a writer. Thanks!
