Although I am just nineteen years old, and have been in the workforce for only a few short years, I have experienced confrontation in the work place. Very rarely does this occur, as I tend to get along with everyone, but now and then it does happen. When these conflictions occur with somebody I come into contact with on a daily basis, it drives me insane! I blow up inside, and want to on the outside, although I never have. This book helped me to deal with my emotions and discover that the only was to cope with it was not to change the other person or get rid of the situation, but to accept your feelings and control how you react to the situation. This idea written on paper believe or not made me laugh, because I thought it was impossible. It's the old "sticks and stones" story, but I really found it to work. I love this book!

Now this book is a riot. I loved it! Similar to some of the others I have read but strait to the point. Is there someone getting on your nerves? Do you know what to do when you can't take another second of the blabber mouth on the phone in the next cube? You will after reading this book. It teaches you how to handle and not handle certain situations taht everyone at some point in their life has to deal with. It's up to you however how you react to those situations.
A great book for the college student, and excellent book for the teen that will read it. This is pretty much a great read for anyone who goes out in public. lol

Ever had a coworker that was hard to deal with? I bet you wish you had this book. This book just gets you to separate your emotions from your work life. "Its just business" is a great mantra for this book. By getting your emotions out of the work day, you really are more productive, you impress bosses, AND coworkers because you aren't involved in the day to day garbage and office banter. Great for those young professionals just starting out, a real jump start to your career. I love the candor of this book and the ease of making complicated workplace problems simple and managable. When I read this book I actually got excited about going into work and seeing how they would work and pay off. I'll say that its not an immediate difference, but people do start to notice something is different.
