This book is a step-by-step guide to healing arthritis naturally. It could cover any type of inflammatory disease it is similar to an elimination diet. It guides you to prevention by finding food allergies. There are lots of lists on what foods are highly allergic, what foods are most aggravating, what foods help reduce inflammation. From there, it tells you how to prepare and test foods to see if it causes a reaction. The book also covers a six-step program to overcoming arthritis. This six-step program starts with a detox plan for five days eating salads, soups and juices, two days of water only. I haven’t attempted to go five days like that. I’d never make it. But overall it is full of information and the focus is on natural, whole foods. There is a large section on malnutrition, food additives and chemicals. I would highly recommend the book to anyone with arthritis or other autoimmune disease. Just take what you can from the book and leave the rest.
