Who even thought that mice could teach us so much??? Excellent concept, simple writing and keeps you hooked while reading. It isn't even a big book, and even the slowest reader can finish it in a couple of hours. Great and fun way to learn how to adapt to changes, get out of your box and explore, and to know that you'll never know whether the path before you is right or wrong unless you walk it and find out yourself. A career counsellor actually suggested that I try reading this book, and that's one advice I'll never regret taking. This book is a must read, especially for those stepping out of college, or for those trying to change careers. Afterall, the only thing constant in this world, is change.

The book teaches you some very important values:
The more important your cheese is to you, the more you want to hold on to it.
Smell the cheese often so you know when it is getting old.
Movement in a new direction helps you find new cheese.
The quicker you let go of old cheese, the sooner you find new cheese.

Change is good but change can also be frustrating and difficult for even the most determined. This book when picked up doesn't look like much but it carries a mighty punch. It shares that there are obstacles of various types when dealing with change and it help you get to where you need to be. Thus who moved my cheese? The book is entertaining and can be enjoyed by all.

This novel uses cheese in a very clever sense. The novel is about two mice and two humans trying to get through life's maze in thier own ways. You never realize that the path that you are taking is the wrong one until you have gone down that path. This novel gives you tools and ways to udnerstand and deal with going down that wrong path. You are also give the tools to gain the strength to change the outcome of these actions.

I refered this novel to a friend of mine and we were able to give to different perspectives but the consensus was the same: it was a great read. Life is a game of cat and mouse, mazes and myths and it's time that we realized the path not taken may be the way out.

Who Moved My Cheese is a classic that uses a story without the burden of extra detail to force you to put your own life into the situation, and learn from it. It's true that this method isn't for everyone, but the book is popular for a reason: it helps people. Who Moved My Cheese has that special something that most fables lack. It makes you think. The only other fable I've seen accomplish this in the last decade is a new one: Squawk! How to Stop Making Noise and Start Getting Results

I never would have guessed that this tiny book with the silly title would deliver such a huge message! I was on vacation on a cruise when I stumbled upon it in their library. An hour later I had finished it and sat staring out at the sea digesting this interesting read. It is a simple tale about two mice and two little people who live in a maze and the consequences of how they each deal with change. The reader can't help but identify with the characters and reflect on the ramifications of their own behaviors. This powerful story is also peppered with intriguing thought provoking quotes; my favorite being, "what would I do if I wasn't afraid"? It's one of those books that you just can't explain to someone, they have to read it themselves! I recently read some very negative reviews on this book and quite honestly I have to think those people just won't ever 'get it' !

People deal with change in so many different ways - a big focus of this book. And it hit close to home with me because I'm in the midst of a lot of change. The characters in this book all have a different outlook on life and what "the cheese" means to them. And I think "the cheese" could be anything you want. Maybe something you value in life, perhaps your job or a relationship. It's not a hefty book - I think it's less than 100 pages, and I finished it in one night. I think this book would mean different things to different people. I highly recommend it. Certainly well worth an evening on the couch.

"Who Moved my Cheese" is a captivating story about dealing with change. It was a short read, my copy was less than 100 pages. It told the story of two people and two mice who lived together in a maze, and one day, someone moves their cheese. This book appeals to people of all ages and the characters are very easy to relate to. This very simple plot says a lot about society at large. We will all have to deal with change at some point in our lives, whether its school, work, or at home. And change is something that many people fear. This book inspires you to take a different approach to change, to embrace it. When you put the book down you are totally revamped with a new sense of determination and you are totally ready to take change head on.

I'm not sure what to make of this book. It's incredibly popular, has sold a ridiculous number of copies, and is heralded as life-changing by many. And yet, despite this acclaim, I can't really find much redeeming in it. Ostensibly, 'Who Moved My Cheese' is meant to show us all how to live go-with-the-flow lives, 'keeping your eye on the prize' despite constant changes. Unfortunately, it never explores whether all changes are necessarily good, or what to do when they're not. The advice offered is only 'deal with them'. While sometimes there is nothing else you can do, I simply can’t believe it’s good life advice to assume that this is always the case.

In addition, the story is so shallow, and the language so simple that it feels like it was written for kids still in elementary school. I recently discovered there's a Teen version of this book. I don't know how they could have dumbed it down still further, but I suppose anything's possible. Don't waste your time.

I love to read books, the more motivating to me the better. This book is at the top of the "food chain" so to speak. If you find yourself, like I did working in the same boring job for more than 10 years, and wondering where you went wrong, this book is for you. Very easy reading and the exercises in the book will put you in the right frame of mind to take that scary first step of deciding what you really should be doing with your life.

This book is a quick read, and by the time you are done reading this book, you should have a different outlook on your current situation, I highly recommend this book.

I read this book in about 45 minutes, but it changed the way I approach new problems. The book focuses on two types of "mice", those who resist change and those who pursue more proactive solutions.

While I really found the book to be helpful and relevant, the only issue I had with it was that those people who could truly benefit from the message of this book would quite likely miss the point entirely. It is written like a fable, so those who find it difficult to apply concepts from a work of fiction to real life may not find the book to be terribly helpful.

Who knew that you could completely change how you think just by spending an hour reading a book? (Yes, this book is so short you can read the whole thing in under an hour.)

This book discusses how people handle change and the different mechanisms we use to cope with change. The characters in the book are easy to identify with and represent ourselves and the people in our lives. By following the characters in the book, we can observe how they handle change and how it relates to us. It is really an eye opening experience to learn about the silly things we do as individuals when faced with change.

This book is good for everybody to read, from teenagers to senior citizens. It is geared toward people in the workforce but I think that even the people in my baby playgroup could benefit from it.

It is one of the best books I have read. Short and highly influencing.

A quick read, it is for sure going to make an impact in the way you look at things, the way you think and the way you act.

A pretty narrative using fictional characters, its a book with deep meaning behind.

Crisp takeaways make it a hallmark feature in this book. I reread it many times and it takes 5 minutes to go through all of them and voila! I am all charged again.

If you are in distress on things turning out the way you did not expect them to, facing a hard decision, or an unexpected turn in life this is the book to read and I bet you would never think of anything as unwelcome ever again.

Be on the move! :)

Given the fact that there is no escaping change and that the office environment is getting more unpredictable by the day, Who Moved My Cheese is a great coping mechanism if nothing else.

I came across this book when everything was hunky dory and didn't really see much value in it. But as soon as someone moved my cheese, some messages struck home and other people's rave reviews of the book started to make sense. The good thing is, you realise you are not singled out in any situation and that if you are open to possibilities, a lot can be adjusted around you.

One the other hand, though simply written, I didn't think the book was captivating enough to be classified as a great text. To each his own!

I was given this book when I was managing an office at a Law Firm. This was a godsend at the time. Those of you who know, it's very frustrating and stressful to work with attorneys and this book gave me my spirit back. I always said that job sucked the life out of me. It's such a great, refreshing way to look at both business and life and to use mice and cheese to tell it is genius. This book is so popular that even years later after I had read it, numerous times, and given it as gifts to a number of people, I was at an airport in Canada having dinner at a restaurant and heard the gentleman next to me discussing it. How did I know? They were discussing mice, mazes and cheese and I don't think they were scientists. It's a quick read so if you need immediate gratification and inspiration it's all in this book.

Change Management at Its Best

This book truly helps define the different "personalities" when change happens. We purchased this book for all of our employees when we had integrated a new Management Team. We also utilized the workbooks and video that can be purchased to help companies deal with change. The characters are cute and funny while providing an accurate tale of how some accept change, some reject change, some are willing to change, and those that make change happen. It gives a great foundation for managers and leaders to understand the thinking behind the fears of change and how to overcome them.

A great read for a changing environment. I would recommend this to a business owner and the entire staff when you need to get everyone on board. If you can't find your cheese, no-one moved it. You need to start looking for it because the location has changed.
