Stuart Wilde's money book, his fifth book, deals with the e.s.p. of easy money and the metaphysics of being in the right place at the right time, with the right idea and the right attitude. Like his other highly successful books, this work is chock full of useful information. His breezy and comical style make for effortless reading, as you plot your path to complete financial freedom.
Much like the spiritual premise of all of Wilde’s books, when you wish something into your life – when you focus on it and feel confident that you deserve it and associate only positive things with it – you will receive it. According to Wilde, this goes for money, too! I have several of Wilde’s books and this one, I must admit, did help me somewhat although it is not my favorite of his writings. Using his familiar sense of humor and his concept of the money game, he basically tells readers to use it or lose it. Use your knowledge of money making and don’t let it get rusty. Use your knowledge of saving, and watch money suddenly appear in your life: you’ve manifested it! Most important of all, Wilde tells readers to put their energy into their intentions of having more money. Much like what he has written about in the past, he tells us if we think about positively and work toward it both physically and spiritually, the universe will happily comply.
In the most simplest of ways can someone manifest an idea and set it fourth to create such an abundance of help to people worldwide. This book is very strait forward without the help of any spontaneous ways in wealth creation.
Stuart Wilde approaches all financial manners in a way that anyone can understand in any situation. "Change" plays an ample role in the concepts in this read. Wilde claims that without change, anyones wealth creating ability can become dormant and become unused without proper action.
This is a good read for those that have tried everything and want to try something new, creative and real! Life is not purely about trying to become wealthy before death but Wilde explains that it is all areas of life that need prosperity and mirth. Become a more open minded person about life and money. Buy this book.
While I found the majority of this book to be more anecdotal, his main point (in my opinion) is true - that when you have money, it becomes easier to attract more of it, and I've found it to be true in my own life. I think it's more because when you develop the habit of saving money, even when you don't have a specific goal in mind, it becomes easier to hold on to whatever windfalls come your way! I don't necessarily believe I found that $5 in the parking lot because I chose to save my birthday money the week before instead of spending it, but I'm $5 richer nonetheless.
I'd recommend this for people interested in the ideas of money and the economy, but maybe not for those interested in "hard" investing!
If you're the type of person who is fascinated with the economy, money, or growing your business, you'll like this book. The basic premise is, that if you have a hole in your pocket, you'll never "have" money and if you "have" a lot of money, its easier to make money. It also seemed to have a lot of political undertones, and while I don't really believe in bottom up economics, it was interesting to read his side of the story. I loved some of his anecdotes which were quite funny. The ones about his college days showed his realism quite well. A nice addition to any library.
