The One Decision: Make the Single Choice That Will Lead to a Life of More by Judith Wright

Why make New Year's resolutions you know you won't keep? According to seminar leader and cofounder of the Wright Institute, Judith Wright, there are any number of ways you can better your life-you can quit smoking, start exercising, save toward a bigger house-but the attainment of real life satisfaction requires a fundamental shift in perspective, the ability to make the One Decision that will completely transform the fabric of one's life.

This powerful book demonstrates how to isolate and articulate the One Decision that will lead to the life you want to live, and how to allow this simple yet profound choice to become the guiding force in everything you do. Follow the 30 Days to Your One Decision program at the end of the book and watch your life transform for the better . . . forever.

The One Decision, had been on my books to read list for a while, but I felt let down by Judith Wright's approach to handling this topic. I am the type of person who makes new years resolution and hardly ever keeps to them; so, needless to say, I was very interested to hear what this book had to say. Many of the pointers in this book are, I think, instinctual to most people, such as whatever you think on the most will come to you, and whomever you surround yourself with will determine a positive or negative force. The book repeats themes quite often, way to much for my taste, but the real- life stories she has gathered are sometimes interesting. This book is for the simplistic person who is just beginning to look outside of himself/herself and I cannot recommend it much further. If you must, I would suggest renting it first.
