I have read plenty of diet books and with each one I learn what I CAN’T eat. No sugar, no carbs, very little dairy, oh wait, no meat! Sometimes I just can’t keep it straight. But for once, this made sense. You can eat the things you want but the key is moderation and portion control. If you really think about it, if someone tells you not to do something, you want to do it 10x more! But this book is giving you the ‘go ahead’ to eat those things you love, that way you do not feel completely deprived and end up binge eating everything you ever thought was tasty. I would highly recommend this book, because it gave me the handle on portion sizes and helped me realize I didn’t have to punish myself after eating something that wasn’t 99% free of flavor. I do have much more energy and free will in my life and I’m enjoying it.
