Experience is a treasure in life and if that experience is brought out in the form of a book then that book itself will become the precious treasure and those people who can enjoy this treasure are the luckiest ones. Here is a treasure in the form of book "Having It All: Achieving Your Life's Goals and Dreams", written by John Assaraf through his life experience which is a great work because of its ability to change your life. I thought I was a satisfied person with whatever I was having in my life but fortunately I got a chance to read this book.It was a great experience to read this book and made me to rethink about my life concept.Reading this book is a turning point in my life. After reading the book, my myth about satisfactory life disappeared and hidden dreams started coming out.I applied his 7 principles used by sucessful persons in my life and to my surprise I could covert some of my dreams into reality. According to John, dream may be regarding anything , but realizing that dream is important so that you can lead a happy life. I firmly believe this book will at least awaken you from sleep and make you think about your dreams. I recommend this for those people who are acting as if they are self satisfied by hiding their ambition.
Why do most people shy from having it all? Why is there an innate fear in us that something will go wrong if we get all that we deserve? Though I generalize, I know these thoughts of mine reflect in the majority. Till they read Assaraf.
I first heard of this man when I read The Secret, to which he is a contributor. I thought the whole Secret stuff was one big scam... who are all these guys and what makes them so 'attractive'. But if you are like me, probing further will make you have it all.
There are laws... Principles they do not teach you at school. And that's what you get from here. Go for it!
This book really helped to put this fast-paced life of mine into perspective. It really helps to show individuals what is really important in life, and what is just another part of life. Some of the most "important" things in life such as money, wealth, prestige, etc. can become nothing more than a gust of wind while reading this book. I learned to take advantage of every day, and time spent with family and loved ones, because we all don't have that much time on this earth. Although this is not geared toward Christianity, it helped to strengthen my faith and help me prepare for my life in heaven after this life on earth. I started reading the Bible more often, and really looked into what makes me ultimately happy, and distinguished these things among the simple, short "highs" you get from getting money, pride, etc. This book is the missing link between where you stand and what you see yourself as in your happiest state.
I gave up my comfortable life about 7 years ago to just go with my heart. It was 9/11 and I said life was too short to do something I hate. When you do things that make you happy, you make more money- OR you are so happy you don't mind how much money you make. So I am really happy with this book because it plants seeds in your heart about what you dreamt about when you were young. Its so refreshing to remember and believe in dreams again. So many people become potatoes and just do what government or society tells us. This book will wake you up, make you think, and help you accomplish your dreams. I buy everything he writes.
