I bought this book for my mom about three months ago and she loved it. The hardest thing for my mom to do was lose the 15-20 lbs she wanted to because of her extremely slow metabolism. On top of that, she finds it difficult to make it to the gym with her busy schedule, even when she working part-time at a nearby gym! The eight minute workouts in the morning were perfect because she gets up early every morning anyway, and doesn't have to leave the house. This type of workout is perfect for anyone wanting to get a little more energy in the morning, especially if you are prone to being tired every morning. The menus were very convienate as well, especially if you have a busy schedule. My mom in particular was fed up with calorie counting, and diets similar to the Atkins. Great book for overall health and motivation.
My good friend, Stephanie introduced me to this book 2 months ago. She has three children and I have two children. We get together one day a week so our children can have a play date.
Stephanie and I both had researched many many books, dvd's, motivational tapes etc. But, we could never find anything that either of us could stay with or keep the achieved results before sliding back into our old habits.

Stephanie and I discuss the book all the time, and have fun coming up with weekly menus for foods that I never thought I could enjoy and still try to lose weight. Having the motivation from Jorge, and having a friend who's also doing the same book, has been awesome.
In two months she has lost 30 pounds and I've lost 23 pounds. I recommend this book to everyone out there who has the desire in their heart to want to be healthy and lose inches without having to jump into an instant gym routine, or instantly give up the foods you love. It really is only 8 minutes then as you go through your day you can smile because you know that you have taken time for yourself and a new tomorrow.
When I saw this book, I said to myself, “Yeah, right. 8 minutes. How is that going to help a middle-aged woman with a lot of weight to lose?”
Encouraged by the positive reviews, I tried it and it is the best thing I have come across in my quest to lose weight in a long time. I felt that I needed to do more than the 8 minutes, but went by the program.
I’m a believer! I got up, excited to start, checked the motivational daily messages that Jorge gives and could not believe how, in a very short amount of time, how much more energy I had and how much it revved up my metabolism.
I don’t have to join a gym, spend lots of money, brave the elements to run, take up room in my house with a treadmill. Of course, you will want to do more,, but Jorge will deal with that when you are ready.
I will definitely buy more of his books as I like the meal plan also.
