Dr. Weil consistently fills his books with information that really can make a difference in your health and in your life. As usual, he tells you all you need to know about living an organic life style and eating an organic diet- but hey- what I don't get is why it seems his solutions are only for the elite.
There is nothing inexpensive about following Dr. Weil's plans. If you are trying to be healthy on a budget, you might as well pass on this book. I find his insistence that we all eat totally organic- even to the point of saying everyone should grow their own vegetables- is really an example of living in an ivory tower. If organic produce is not readily available, or not always affordable, and you live somewhere that doesn't happen to have a couple of lush acres for gardening- does that mean you can't be healthy? He seems to think so but I disagree.
If you are wealthy, follow his advice to the letter. If you are not, file his ideas for future use and move on to something more practical.
