I got this book after hearing people talk about it all over the TV. I confess to not being an overly sentimental person, but I was intrigued by the concept. Low and behold I had some misty-eyes on occasion.

Although some points were a bit predictable, I really enjoyed the book. It's a fast read, but also caused me to think about things. I appreciate Eddie's random accident because nobody knows when their time is up. The interaction of characters also resonated because you're reminded that every interaction with people is important - you never know how you influence others. Since reading this book, I have made a conscious effort to be more positive when dealing with others and never to part ways on a sour note.

I recommend this book to anyone, even if they aren't usually prone to sentimental stories.

I too have been on the fence with this book for quite sometime; I felt the concept was interesting, but not necessarily enough to go out and purchase a copy. Your review, however, has be thinking twice about my previous decision, especially since it sounds like its a book that's not only fun to read but also inspires the reader to question aspects of their life.

One thing I'd remember in the future is to be careful with plot points, as the statement about Eddie could be considered a spoiler. Aside from that, well done.
