I checked this site out after a friend recommended it to me. I suffer from eczema and was wanting to see what I could do at home on my own sans medication to treat it. I typed in my search and it pulled up 29 suggestions for how I could self-medicate at home! That blew me away. The first link I clicked taught me ways to avoid flare-ups as well as how to treat them once they are already irritated. My doctor had immediately wanted to start me on prescription medication for this (a cream) but I told her I wanted to look into natural approaches first since I only have a very mild case of it. One suggestion that I tried was adding epsom salts to my bath. I was surprised by this suggestion as eczema is like dry patches of skin. But it softened my skin and made it absorb my natural lotions better and really did help. I would recommend this site to anyone. As long as you are aware that the suggestions are coming from people just like you and do not take it as a word from a doctor, its a good site. I will warn you though...there are a lot of ads and I mean A LOT!
