The Weight Watchers Flex Plan assigns a points value to every food. These points are related to the calories, fat, and fiber in each food item. With the Flex Plan, you are given a budget of points you can have each day but then it is up to you to pick the foods that you eat. If you want to indulge in a certain high-points food, you will just have to restrict during other meals. I like that Weight Watchers doesn't completely restrict you from the things you love, so it's easy to stick with this diet. The plan comes with a book that lists the points values for all sorts of food, even for supermarket brands and restaurant meals. Also, unlike meal services, you aren't required to eat Weight Watchers food, so this plan is more wallet friendly This was actually the first diet I ever went on and I was able to lose 10 pounds. However, the Weight Watchers service does get a little bit expensive so eventually I moved off the plan and started to work independently. Weight Watchers can be a good segue into learning life-long healthy habits and introduces you to the concept of watching calories and what you eat without changing your life.
