I certainly would not call myself a Bible scholar or a theologian, but I believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant message of God. I found myself very disappointed during reading this book. Mr. Walsch attempts to move people away from the message of the Christian God to a message that does not resemble the aforementioned message in any way. This disappointment is compounded due to the fact that the author misquotes many Biblical verses and themes. At the same time, I found myself moving toward a position of selfishness with regard to loss. Sadly, this has been the theme of the entire "Conversations with God" series by Mr. Walsch. Instead of dealing with grief in the context of a loving God the reader begins to move to a selfish "I just want to feel good" type of attitude. This is not good for anyone dealing with loss and it does not fit into any legitimate grieving process model. I certainly do not want to sound overly critical but this book is to be avoided and it is not recommended.
