I checked this out from the library and I am glad I did. Now, first let me tell you that I am a fan of Dr. Christine Northrup, have been for years. I think she has done some fantastic research and writing in her field of woman's health. I have some of her books on my bookshelf, just not his one.
I think this book contains a lot of valuable information but isn't it basically a re-write of her last book? I'm not seeing that much difference. Yes, it's true she is a little more in tune with those "new" theories on mind body healing but still, her work is medically oriented. This is a good book if you want to stay under the wing of an MD while you experiment with borderline new age-y ideas about health and wellness.
If you are no longer shocked or mystified to find that your mind, your lifestyle, and attitude ( not to mention your diet) effect your health than skip this one and go on to something a little more advanced. This is to basic.
